The restoration of five iconic trains of Barcelona to mark the centenary of the Barcelona Metro, from the Series 300, which inaugurated the first section of the Gran Metro in 1924, the Series 100 with its characteristic modernist style, to the Series 3000/4000 from 1986, which remained in use until it was replaced in 2024 by the current Series 7000/8000, designed by our own team at Ariño Design.

Ariño Design carried out the project in collaboration with CAF, refurbishing the interior of each vehicle to improve accessibility and completely restoring all its aesthetic components. The vehicles were open to the public for two months between November 2025 and January 2026, receiving more than 90,000 visitors.
